The demonstratives pronouns are identical to the demonstrative adjectives, except that the demonstrative pronouns take an accent mark because they replace the noun, please note that the exception to this rule is the neuter form.

 

Example:          este libro es muy caro, pero ése es barato

                        This book is very expensive but that one is cheap.
